Head Volleyball Coach
Aloha High School of the 6A Metro League has an immediate opening
for Head Volleyball Coach candidates, who can further develop and
continue to lead our program to excellence. Preferred candidates will
have prior successful coaching at the Varsity level, have a passion for
kids and their success, be dynamic, skilled at teaching the game,
committed to being fundamentally sound, and be dedicated to the overall
athletic program. Must be NFHS or ASEP certified, have current first aid
card, completed steroid and concussion awareness programs, as well as
other various Beaverton School District employment requirements. Please
submit a letter of interest containing your vision for our program, a
resume highlighting your qualifications and experience, and at least 3

Job Description and Expectations:
~ Knowledge, experience and ability to effectively perform the
duties of Head Coach as stated in the District Coaches Handbook/Head
Coaching Responsibilities and the District Code of Conduct
~ Previous successful experience at the high school, club or
college level.
~ Follow high ethical and professional standards
~ Direct a successful grade 9-12 volleyball program
~ Provide a clear direction, goals and objections for program
success
~ Develop and implement an off season program for athletes
~ Ability to communicate effectively with parents, administration,
players and staff
~ Support and/oversee the development of a youth program.
~ History of positive influences and interactions with players,
coaches, support groups and parents.
Coach must hold or be able to acquire:
1. First Aid Card
2. OSAA Concussion Certification Training
3. OSAA Steroid Certification Training
4. ASEP/NFHS Coaching Certification
5. Passage of fingerprint-based criminal history
verification required upon offer of employment.
